Qualified Electrician

Stewart Electrical Group is a Sydney-based electrical contracting business operating across residential construction, commercial fitout, aged care, and smart home / air conditioning. We run a tight team, operate professionally, and take quality seriously.

We're currently expanding our footprint across the Southern Highlands, Campbelltown corridor, and South Coast — and we're looking for a licensed electrician based in or willing to work across those areas. 

The Role 

Full-time field position covering the Southern Highlands, Campbelltown / Macarthur region, and South Coast NSW. You'll be across a mix of residential COD work, new construction, commercial fitouts, and occasionally aged care sites.

Work is project-based — some days alongside the crew, others running a job independently. This role involves travel to rural and regional areas and occasional interstate work. You must be willing and available to work away from home when required. 

What the Work Looks Like 

• Residential switchboard upgrades and fault finding 

• New residential construction — rough-in through to final fix 

• Commercial fitouts and small industrial 

• Air conditioning and data cabling (experience a bonus, not required) 

• Aged care and school sites as needed — behaviour and presentation matter on these 

• Rural, regional, and interstate project work as required 

What We're Looking For 

• Current NSW Electrical Worker licence — unrestricted 

• Minimum 2 years post-trade experience in residential and/or commercial 

• Sound knowledge of AS/NZS 3000:2018 

• White Card current 

• Own tools 

• Based in or near the Southern Highlands, Campbelltown, or South Coast — or genuinely willing to work across those areas daily 

• Willing and available to work away from home — rural, regional, and interstate as required 

• Punctual, consistent, and doesn't need to be managed 

• Comfortable on aged care and school sites when required
