AWE is currently seeking a qualified Electrician to join a busy and well-established manufacturing operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys fault-finding, preventative maintenance, and keeping production equipment operating at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out electrical maintenance on manufacturing and production equipment.
  • Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults on machinery and automated systems.
  • Performing preventative and scheduled maintenance activities.
  • Installing, testing, and commissioning electrical equipment.
  • Maintaining PLC-controlled systems and associated instrumentation.
  • Assisting with equipment upgrades and continuous improvement projects.
  • Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with safety and compliance requirements.
  • Completing maintenance reports and documentation.
  • Acting as the Electrical Supervisor during periods of leave or absence.

Requirements:
  • Current Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence (and have completed an Electrician’s assessment (LEA) within the last 5 years).
  • Willingness & eligibility to act as a Supervisor for a Registered Electrical Contractor when required.
  • Strong working knowledge of Victorian electrical legislation.
  • Experience supervising electricians or leading electrical teams.
  • High level of documentation, discipline and compliance awareness.
  • Strong client-facing communication skills.
  • Current driver’s licence.
