About the role

This full-time Electrician role at Solar House in Brisbane offers an exciting opportunity to join a leading renewable energy company and play a key role in the installation and maintenance of solar and battery power systems. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently completing electrical work to the highest standards, ensuring optimal performance of Solar House's cutting-edge solar technology.

What you'll be doing

Carrying out the installation, testing, and commissioning of solar and battery power systems
Meterbox and switchboard upgrades
Performing routine maintenance and repairs on existing solar installations
Troubleshooting and resolving any electrical issues or faults
Ensuring all work is completed in full compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards
Providing exceptional customer service and technical support to Solar House's residential and commercial clients
Collaborating with the wider technical team to share knowledge and drive continuous improvement

What we're looking for

A qualified Electrician with a current electrical licence and significant experience in the solar energy or renewable technology industry
Hold an unrestricted electrical licence with minimum 1-2 years of experience in solar or renewable energy systems
Strong technical skills and a sound understanding of electrical systems, solar technology, and relevant compliance requirements
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to quickly identify and resolve issues
Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information effectively
A team-oriented approach and a commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of your work
Australian permanent residency or citizenship is required for this position
