Automotive Electrician

Alexander Perrie is a leading manufacturer of specialised vehicles and equipment based in Kirrawee. We are seeking an experienced AUTOMOTIVE ELECTRICIAN to join our team.

The work consists of:

• Design electrical systems and layouts, providing technical expertise and input to support tender submissions and project delivery

• Install and integrate emergency service lighting, warning systems, and associated equipment into new vehicle builds

• Perform electrical upgrades and modifications on vehicle refurbishment projects to meet operational and compliance requirements

• Conduct fault finding, diagnostics, repairs, and testing across a range of electrical and electronic vehicle systems

• Occasional travel as required to our Illawarra workshop and customer sites

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, reliability, safety, and overall work practices

• Contribute to innovation and the development of new electrical solutions, system enhancements, and improved installation methodologies

Must haves:

• Trade qualified Automotive Electrician

• In depth knowledge of CAN BUS System

• Confident with fault finding and diagnostic ability

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Reliable, enthusiastic and positive

Hours:

6.30am – 3.30pm Monday to Thursday

6.30am – 10.30am Friday

Overtime is available.
