Quick Connect Electrical & Air Conditioning is a small, customer-focused electrical business based in Oxenford on the Gold Coast.

We are looking for an experienced licensed electrician who takes real pride in their work, is genuinely great with customers, and wants to be part of a small team that is building something long term.

Our work covers a wide range of residential & light commercial electrical service, maintenance and installation jobs across the Gold Coast.

About the role:

This is a full-time position for a licensed electrician with strong service, maintenance, fault-finding, and customer-facing experience.

You will be trusted to run your day, communicate directly with customers, complete jobs to a high standard, and represent the Quick Connect name with pride. We have clear systems and processes in place so you are never left guessing - but you need to be the kind of person who takes ownership, not one who needs chasing.

This role suits a well-rounded, experienced electrician who enjoys problem-solving, likes variety, and wants to be part of a small business where quality work and the right attitude are genuinely valued.

What you will be doing:

• Electrical service, maintenance and installation work across a diverse range of clients- including private residential customers, real estate and property management, strata and body corporate, small commercial venues and businesses.

• Fault finding, diagnosis, upgrades and repairs across a variety of electrical systems and environments.

• Safety switch, switchboard and circuit protection upgrades.

• Lighting, power, appliance & general electrical installations.

• Air conditioning electrical work (and installation if applicable).

• Testing, inspection & compliance checks.

• Communicating with customers in a professional and approachable manner.

• Completing job documentation including job notes, photos & service/ compliance reports.

• Identifying additional works and preparing quotes on site - we're looking for someone to recognise opportunities, present solutions to customers professionally, and help grow the business through quality service and recommendations.

• Representing Quick Connect Electrical & Air to a high standard on every visit.

What we are looking for:

• Minimum 3 years experience as a licensed electrician.

• Split system installation experience (Certificate II in Air Conditioning) - highly advantageous but not essential.

• Valid Queensland electrical license & full right to work in Australia.

• Strong fault-finding ability - confident in diagnosing problems and explaining them to customers in plain language.

• Works autonomously - you don't need someone standing over your shoulder.

• Customer focused - you understand that how you treat people is just as important as how you do the work.

• Neat, organised and professional on every job, big or small.

• Reliable, on time, and takes full ownership of your work.

• Comfortable across residential and light commercial environments.

• Based on the Gold Coast.

• Looking for a long-term role, not just a short stopover.

Primary focus on residential & light commercial service & maintenance electrical experience is essential for this position.

Who this role is not for:

This role is probably not the right fit if you-

• Do not enjoy service and maintenance work.

• Only want large construction site or new build work.

• Do not take pride in your workmanship.

• Do not genuinely enjoy dealing with customers.

• Need to be micromanaged or chased to get things done.
