You'll work with advanced power systems including UPS systems, battery chargers, lithium battery banks, and energy storage technologies supporting commercial, industrial, telecommunications, utility, and infrastructure clients.

About the Role
Based in NSW, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, installing, and commissioning Magellan Power equipment both in-house and at customer sites.
This role provides a mix of workshop, site-based, and customer-facing work, offering excellent variety and exposure to a wide range of electrical and power system technologies.
Travel throughout NSW is required, with occasional interstate travel opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Service, maintain, and repair Magellan Power equipment
Perform site-based service, fault-finding, commissioning, and maintenance activities
Install, commission, and troubleshoot:
DC Battery Chargers
UPS Systems
Lead Acid Battery Banks
Lithium Battery Systems
Carry out electrical installations and basic switchboard modifications
Diagnose faults and repair or replace defective components
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
Conduct preventative maintenance, testing, and calibration activities
Complete service reports and technical documentation
Deliver professional customer service both on-site and remotely
Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles in a safe and professional condition

About You
You are a qualified electrician who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and delivering high-quality outcomes for customers.
You will have:
Essential Requirements
Current Electrical Licence
Current Australian Driver's Licence
Right to work in Australia
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
Good communication and customer service abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to travel throughout NSW as required
Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Desirable Experience
Experience in any of the following areas will be highly regarded:
Industrial electrical maintenance
Commercial electrical services
UPS systems
Battery systems
Solar and renewable energy systems
Telecommunications infrastructure
Critical power environments
Commissioning and fault-finding
