Who we're looking for
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Electrician / Supervisor with a strong background in electrical and data infrastructure, who is looking to take the next step into a leadership-focused role within a growing technology business.

About the role
Based out of our Wollongong office, you will play a key role in delivering projects across commercial, government, aged care, and healthcare environments.
This is a hands-on leadership position where you will lead small to medium projects, contribute to estimation and quoting, coordinate contractors, and support the development of junior technicians, whilst remaining actively involved in technical delivery.
Work will primarily be across NSW (including regional and South Coast), with opportunities to support projects interstate and internationally in New Zealand and the Pacific region (including Fiji).

Key responsibilities
Leading and coordinating small to medium projects from site mobilisation through to completion
Supporting project delivery across NSW, interstate and international locations as required
Managing contractors, site resources, and supporting team members to ensure high-quality delivery
Contributing to project estimation, quoting, and scope development
Preparing and maintaining accurate project documentation, reports, and handovers
Acting as a key on-site representative of Ericom
Communicating with customers in a professional manner
General electrical work and fault finding
Structured cabling and fibre optic installations
Network testing, analysis, patching and auditing
CCTV installations and maintenance
Access control and security installations
Nurse call installations and maintenance
Ensuring compliance with WHS standards
Supporting project planning and continuous improvement initiatives
Other duties as required
Do you have?
NSW Electrical Licence (essential)
Open Cabling Licence with endorsements (essential or willingness to obtain)
Current Driver’s Licence (essential)
Construction Industry White Card (essential)
NSW Police Clearance (Enforced before employment)
EWP & Working at Heights (preferred)
Strong organisational and project coordination skills (essential)
Experience in estimation, quoting, and project documentation (highly regarded)
Proven experience leading and delivering projects end-to-end (candidates without project leadership experience may not be considered)
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
A strong interest in emerging technologies and infrastructure solutions
Professional presentation and attention to detail
Full Australian working rights
Remuneration & expectations
Salary will be aligned to experience, certifications, and demonstrated capability, particularly in project delivery, contractor and team management, and technical leadership
Technical knowledge across data, security, and integrated systems will positively influence remuneration
Experience in Nurse Call, CCTV, and security systems will be highly regarded
A mandatory 6-month probationary period applies
