About CWB Electrical

CWB Electrical is a close-knit, locally operated electrical contracting business, serving communities across the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia. We take on a diverse range of work — from residential and commercial projects through to industrial and resources sector jobs — which means our team builds broad, real-world skills across the trade. We're proud of the hands-on training and support we offer, and we're looking for our next apprentice to grow with us.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Electrician to join our growing team servicing clients across the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia.

This is an opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across the residential, commercial, industrial, renewable energy and resources sectors, ensuring no two days are the same. You'll be part of a small, supportive team where your skills, initiative and professionalism are valued, and where you'll have the opportunity to further develop your technical knowledge across a broad range of electrical disciplines.

Working alongside experienced tradespeople and project managers, you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, fault finding, testing and commissioning of electrical systems across a variety of sites throughout the Wheatbelt. The role offers a high level of variety, autonomy and customer interaction, making it ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship.

This position would suit a trade-qualified electrician who is looking for stable, long-term employment, enjoys regional work, and values being part of a locally owned business that genuinely supports its team.

About Our Region & Base Locations

The Wheatbelt is one of nine regions in Western Australia, spanning over 154,000 square kilometres — it's a big part of the world, and we work across a large slice of it. CWB Electrical operates from three bases: Northam, the regional centre of the Avon Valley, located approximately 97 kilometres north-east of Perth; Quairading, around 170 kilometres east of Perth; and Tammin, approximately 184 kilometres east of Perth along the Great Eastern Highway. Applicants should be willing and able to reliably get themselves to one of these three bases at the start of each working day — from there, travel to job sites is in a company vehicle. If you're already living in the region or are open to relocating, this is a great opportunity to build a trade career close to home.
