We are building a new Electrical team who will maintain to the highest standard, Australia’s first automated cargo terminal at the new Western Sydney International Airport, Badgerys Creek. You will be expected to work with world class cargo handling machines/systems in secured environments, diligently executing the following:

• You must have the desire and ability to work safely, ensure the safety of your Team mates through correct implementation of relevant safety procedures such as JSA’s, SWMS’s and confined space documents

• Performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment. Including housekeeping tasks such as MCC and electrical cabinets

• Diagnosing and repairing electrical problems, including issues with power supply and machinery malfunction.

• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics. Ensuring that all drawings are constantly kept up to date.

• Testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits to ensure compatibility and safety of system

• Maintaining comprehensive records of all maintenance and repair activities. Documentation of all maintenance and repair work is important for compliance and future reference.

• Developing new maintenance programs as required.

• Assisting in the development of SOP’s.

• Adhering to all safety procedures and regulations, reporting safety and environmental incidents, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment.

• Training staff on the correct operation and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment as required.

• Maintaining electrical component supplies, parts and equipment to optimum levels.

• Collaboration with other technicians or engineers and key staff as necessary for effective maintenance.

• Continuous monitoring of systems and equipment to ensure early detection of faults, wear and tear and possible malfunction.

• Maintaining a very high standard of housekeeping of the designated Maintenance office space.
