The Opportunity

We seek a professional Electrician or Dual Trade Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team. Our electrical contracting company is based in Moranbah, Central Queensland, and is looking for technicians with strong communication skills who are confident working independently and as part of a team. All positions are permanent and full-time.

Duties & Responsibilities

Your role will involve industrial, mining, and commercial aspects of electrical and or refrigeration work.

Essential Qualifications

• Queensland Trade Licence (or equivalent) & Current Low Voltage Rescue / CPR

• OH&S Construction Card  

• Current Drivers Licence

Desirable Qualifications

• High-Risk Work Licence & Working at Heights

• Confined Spaces

• Standard 11 

• BMA / Stanmore / Olive Downs / Whitehaven Mine Inductions 

Desirable Technical Knowledge

• Electrical Generators / Lighting Towers 

• Satellite / MATV reception systems

• Mining Electrical Standards 

• Data / Communications wiring and testing 

• Cool Rooms / Commercial Refrigeration / HVAC
