Electrician

Position available for a qualified electrician. Applicants with previous experience in industrial electrics and automation systems preferred but not essential. If you have limited experience but are motivated and willing to learn then this position would be a great opportunity to further your career.

You must be able to work independently and have good customer relationship skills. Regular overtime/weekend work is available and occasionally required as well as occasional work in country Victoria which would require overnight stays. We are based in South East suburbs but generally our work is all over Melbourne so you must have the ability to deal with traversing Melbourne regularly.

Overtime/weekend work and overnight travel to country Victoria is negotiable based on the candidate's circumstances and availability.

Work includes locating and rectifying faults with plant and equipment in an industrial environment, installation of new equipment including automation and PLC systems, manufacture of small MCC's and commissioning. Also there is an opportunity to gain knowledge in programming PLC systems to the right applicant.

We operate on a 38hr week with flexible start times and a vehicle with all expenses covered is included.

Qualifications required.

A Class electrical licence, Full drivers licence.

Australian citizenship is required for this position.

Additional qualifications preferred.

Construction Induction, licence to perform high risk work, EWP licence.
