A leading FMCG manufacturing company is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Electrician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work autonomously, contribute to process improvements, and support a highly efficient production environment.

The Role

As a Maintenance Electrician, you will undertake a variety of tasks including general maintenance, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and problem-solving across plant equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the day-to-day efficient operation of plant equipment
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on machinery and equipment
  • Diagnose and resolve faults, ensuring minimal downtime
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Operate and service machinery safely
  • Provide technical support to the production team
  • Adhere to Quality, OHS, GMP, and HACCP standards
Experience & Qualifications:
  • Trade-qualified A-Grade Electrician with at least 4 years’ experience in a manufacturing maintenance role
  • Strong experience with Siemens PLCs and drives
  • Skilled in using CMMS systems
  • Hands-on approach with a proactive, self-starting attitude
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously
  • Forklift licence advantageous
