We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Electrician to join our growing electrical division. This role is focused on electrical service work, repairs and upgrades, with the opportunity to upskill into Thermography for the right candidate as part of long-term career development.

About the Role

This is a hands-on electrical role working across a wide variety of commercial and industrial sites. You will be completing electrical repairs, fault finding, switchboard upgrades and compliance-related works, while working alongside senior electricians and thermographers.

Over time, suitable candidates will be provided the opportunity to train in thermal imaging, expanding their skill set into advanced electrical diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical fault finding, service and repair works
Switchboard upgrades and modifications
Electrical installations and compliance rectification
Working safely on operational commercial sites
Completion of job documentation, risk assessments and reporting
Liaising with clients and site representatives
Supporting thermography and inspection works where required
Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety compliance

Travel will be required as part of this role. Daily travel and allowances are provided, with occasional extended trips depending on project requirements.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

Current Electrical Licence
Commercial electrical experience (service, repairs, upgrades)
Current Drivers Licence
Construction White Card
Ability to obtain Blue Card & Police Clearance
Current First Aid, CPR & Low Voltage Rescue (or ability to obtain)
Strong understanding of WHS requirements and safe work practices
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Previous experience in switchboard works
Experience working in occupied commercial environments
Interest in developing skills in Thermography and electrical diagnostics
Strong communication and customer service skills
Attention to detail and high workmanship standards
Extensive knolwedge of Electrical Regulations and Standards
