Opportunity for an Electrician to Transition into Fire Protection

We’re looking for a motivated Qualified Electrician or Fire Technician to join our growing Wollongong team. If you’re an experienced electrician with an interest in expanding your skills into the fire protection industry, we’d love to hear from you. Full training can be provided for the right candidate.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for the installation, servicing, testing, and maintenance of electrical and fire protection systems across a range of commercial and industrial sites. This is a varied role with opportunities to develop specialist skills in the fire industry.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• Qualified Electrician or experienced Fire Technician.

• Current driver’s licence.

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.

Desirable but not essential:

• Experience with fire detection, emergency lighting and EWIS systems.

• Fire industry qualifications.

• Test and tag experience.

• Willingness to learn and undertake further training.
