Mechanical-Electrical Electrician

About the role

Accent Building Automation Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical-Electrical Electrician to join our team. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work on diverse electrical projects across the HVAC and building automation sector. This role offers the chance to develop your expertise within a growing organisation that values technical excellence and professional development, as well as the opportunity to diversify into the BMS sector if desired.

What you'll be doing

1. Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components in commercial and industrial buildings - including VSD installations, CO systems, A/C power and controls

2. Troubleshooting to identify electrical faults

3. Reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation

4. Collaborating with other trades and team members to complete projects on schedule and within budget

5. Providing excellent customer service and responding promptly to maintenance requests

6. Supporting the integration of building automation systems and related electrical infrastructure

What we're looking for

1. A valid electrical licence recognised in New South Wales, demonstrating your qualification and compliance with regulatory requirements

2. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, circuit breakers, and safety protocols

3. The ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications

4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team

5. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards

6. A valid driver's licence

7. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach

8. Experience with building automation systems is preferred
