About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Electrician to carry out reactive & scheduled electrical maintenance across a diverse portfolio of commercial and retail sites, including petroleum service stations, banks, supermarkets, and government facilities. The role focuses on compliance-driven preventative maintenance to ensure safety, reliability, and asset longevity.


Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to urgent callouts and breakdowns

  • Perform fault finding and diagnostics

  • Carry out electrical repairs and rectification works

  • Conduct general electrical maintenance

  • Complete preventative maintenance servicing

  • Prepare and submit quotations for repair and upgrade works

  • Liaise professionally with clients, property managers, and contractors

  • Ensure compliance with Australian Standards and NSW regulations

  • Maintain accurate service reports and documentation

  • Participate in on-call roster (including after-hours emergency response)


Essential Requirements

  • Current Australian Electrical Licence

  • Valid White Card

  • Current Driver’s Licence

  • Experience in fault finding and Electrical Maintenance

  • Switchboards

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites

  • Police Check


Australian Standards & Compliance

All work must comply with, but is not limited to:

  • AS/NZS 3000 – Electrical Installations (Wiring Rules)

  • AS/NZS 3019 – Electrical Installations – Periodic Assessment

  • AS/NZS 3760 – In-service Safety Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment

  • AS/NZS 2293 – Emergency Lighting and Exit Signs

  • WHS Act & Regulations (Australia)


Desirable

  • Experience in petroleum or hazardous area environments

  • Emergency lighting accreditation

  • Previous work in government or critical infrastructure sites
