Story Fresh is a 4th generation seed-to-store farming company supplying much of the east coast of Australia with their favourite salads. We grow and process leafy vegetables with our own nursery, farms and state of the art processing facility. Our team is extremely innovative and focused on producing the best possible product every day of the year.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a qualified industrial focused Electrician to be part of the factory maintenance team. The team is responsible for operation and maintenance of the processing equipment and the Company's facilities. This involves preventative maintenance, breakdowns, continuous improvement of all processes and new installs. 

MAINTENANCE TEAM'S RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Routine maintenance on a very wide range of equipment and plant

  • Rapid response and problem solving for breakdowns

  • Working with the production teams to optimise facility performance

  • Maintenance and upgrades of PLC and SCADA systems

  • Support for continuous improvement, modifications and installs

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Qualified electrician with commercial/industrial experience

  • Prefers multi-tasking work environment with mechanical aspects as well

  • Good observational skills

  • Team player, motivated, can-do attitude with positive approach

  • Attention to detail

  • Quick learner

  • Willingness to do some out-of-hours work and share call out roster

  • Understanding of requirements when working in food production
