Expression of Interest - Electrical Supervisors & HV Electricians Reeves Plains Energy Hub Project | South Australia
 
Join a landmark renewable energy project delivering the design, supply, construction, and commissioning of Alinta Energy's Reeves Plains Energy Hub, including a 250MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) located approximately 50km north of Adelaide.
 
We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced:
  • Electrical Supervisors
  • HV Electricians
This is an opportunity to work on a large-scale renewable energy project with an ASX-listed company committed to delivering critical infrastructure that supports Australia's energy future.
 
Working across construction and commissioning activities, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of major electrical works while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and teamwork. 

Roster & Location

  • Reeves Plains, South Australia
Electrical Supervisors
  • As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating electrical crews and subcontractors across key project infrastructure.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Supervising daily electrical construction activities on site
  • Coordinating crews, subcontractors, and project interfaces
  • Driving safety, quality, and environmental compliance
  • Preparing daily reports and progress updates
  • Developing work packs from IFC drawings
  • Undertaking material take-offs and planning activities
  • Supporting project delivery to schedule and budget requirements
What We are Looking For
  • Minimum 3 years' supervisory experience within the electrical industry
  • Strong background in HV construction, renewables, substations, or industrial projects
  • Relevant electrical trade qualifications and licences
  • Experience with ACONEX or similar project management systems highly regarded
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
HV Electricians 
  • We are seeking experienced HV Electricians to support construction and commissioning activities across the project.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Installation, testing, and commissioning of HV electrical systems
  • Cable installation, terminations, and equipment connections
  • Working safely within high-risk construction environments
  • Supporting commissioning and energisation activities
  • Maintaining compliance with site safety and quality standards
What We are Looking For
  • SA Electrical Licence
  • HV switching or HV experience highly regarded
  • Experience within renewable energy, substations, utilities, or major infrastructure projects
  • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced project environment
