We are currently recruiting for multiple Electrician positions, with opportunities available across day work and shift work to join our proactive Electrical Maintenance Team.

About the Role

As an Electrician, you will possess the skills necessary to carry out electrical maintenance, capital for a factory/plant to meet maintenance targets, goals and objectives. The successful applicants will be required to:

  • Carrying out mill plant maintenance and capital works. Plant items include wiring, circuitry, mills, turbines, fugals, conveyors, carriers, pumps, fans, gearboxes, motors, and vessels.
  • Working as part of a maintenance crew to meet production and maintenance targets.
  • Using condition monitoring techniques to maintain equipment reliability.
  • Completing electrical project work to improve plant performance.
  • Actively supporting Workplace Health and Safety initiatives.

What We Are Looking For

Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, the electricians will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and diagnosing faults/repairs across a range of electrical systems, including:

  • General plant wiring, lighting, and circuitry
  • Motor starters and variable speed drives (VSDs)
  • Electrical components specific to sugar milling operations

Experience with computerised maintenance systems and assisting with plant improvement projects will be highly regarded.

Must hold a Queensland Electrical Licence endorsed as Electrical Fitter Mechanic, Electrical Mechanic, or equivalent
