Electrical Fitter Electrician

Pump Technology Services (SA) Pty. Ltd. is one of South Australia’s leading mechanical and engineering businesses operating out of Somerton Park. The family operated and owned business is seeking a Electrician/Mechanical Fitter to join their growing team.

Applicants who have had exposure working with submersible and pressure pumps/systems, electrical controls, VSD's, PLC's, control wiring, poly and pvc pipe installations, metal fabrication and machining are strongly encouraged to apply.

To be successful in this role you need to be self-motivated, passionate about high quality workmanship, have the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team and be flexible with your hours of work.

Essential requirements:

Australian drivers license (medium rigid truck license an advantage)

Ability to work confidently on site and in the workshop assisted and unassisted

A Class electrical license. (B class minimum for the right applicant)

Handy with mechanical fitting

Ability to fault find mechanically and/or electrically.

Read, write and follow instructions when required

Preferred requirements:

Pump controls and mechanical knowledge

Confined space trained

Medium rigid truck license

Ability to work overtime and away if required
