Macquarie Electric is seeking motivated electricians to step into Meter Technician Subcontractor roles across Central and Far West NSW. In this role, you will carry out the upgrade and replacement of existing analog meters with advanced smart meters across residential and commercial sites, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to industry standards.
This is more than just a subcontractor role, it’s a genuine pathway to run and grow your own team and business, backed by an established company with proven systems and long-term projects.

Electrical Contractor Licence
Current Driver’s Licence
White Card (General Construction Induction)
Level 2D Metering Certificate
CPR, First Aid in ESI Environment & LV Rescue
Working With Children Check

Public Liability Insurance (minimum $20 million)
