Mechanical Electrician
Location: Tennyson, QLD
Pay rate: $50–$60 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday | 6:00am – 2:00pm
About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Electrician to join a well-established manufacturing site in Tennyson. This is a hands-on, site-based role suited to someone who thrives in a fast paced industrial environment and is focused on maintaining plant reliability and performance.

About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Electrician to join a well-established manufacturing site in Tennyson. This is a hands-on, site-based role suited to someone who thrives in a fast paced industrial environment and is focused on maintaining plant reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance on electrical and mechanical plant equipment
- Fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on industrial electrical systems
- Work on motors, drives, conveyors, and control systems
- Assist with installation, commissioning, and upgrades of plant equipment
- Collaborate with production teams to minimise downtime
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Trade qualified Electrician (QLD Electrical Licence required)
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills across electrical systems
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work on plant equipment
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
- Strong commitment to workplace health & safety
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
