New Opportunities for experienced Motor Mechanics & Auto Electricians who have worked on a wide ranged of both private and mining spec vehicles. You will service, repair and maintain the fleet of site vehicles and associated equipment to a satisfactory level including electrical/diagnosing work if you are an auto-electrician.
 
The Role: 
  • Servicing, maintenance, and repair of light vehicles per manufacturer standards 
  • Troubleshooting and diagnostic tracing of fault codes and repairs of any identified faults
  • Repairing and replacing faulty wiring or electrical systems
  • Servicing of electrical automotive parts
  • General vehicle servicing and maintenance as required, including the removal and replacement of worn components
  • Dismantling of engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components for rebuild or repair
  • Adjusting brakes, tyres, and wheel laser alignments
  • Road testing vehicles after repairs have been completed
  • Handle all customers vehicles with care and ensure they are returned clean and tidy
  • Write accurate job cards and reports
Requirements:
  • Relevant Motor Mechanic/Auto Electrician Trade Certificate or equivalent
  • A minimum 2 years full time work experience in a similar role
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Manufacturer training and experience is essential
  • Unrestricted Drivers Licence
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment to meet customer deadlines
  • Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team and autonomously when required
Pay & Conditions
  • Hourly rate between $38 - $48/hr depending on experience
  • Tool Allowance: $13.55/week
  • Full time employment with a minimum of 38 hours each week
