New Opportunities for experienced Diesel Motor Mechanics, Fitters & Auto Electricians who have worked with CAT, Hitachi, Komatsu and Liebherr in their recent work history. You will repair and maintain the fleet of site vehicles and associated equipment to a satisfactory level including electrical/diagnosing work if you are an auto-electrician.

Conduct routine heavy machinery-specific repair and maintenance tasks including general maintenance, assisting operating personnel in carrying out planned and/or unplanned services and repairs during shift hours. These positions are based in Hunter Valley, predominantly Muswellbrook.

Experience and Requirements:

Minimum 3 Years full-time working in comparable position
Cert III in Relevant Trade
Experience working in a mining environment and on mining plant/equipment
Proficient in hydraulics and auto electrical systems
Skilled in root causes analysis
Capable of diagnosing and repairing compression ignition engine management systems
Experienced in servicing, overhauling and repairing diesel, petrol, and gas-powered vehicles
Able to troubleshoot and replace engine management and fuel injection components
Proficient in repairing heavy vehicle hydraulic and air over hydraulic braking systems
Competent in interpreting electrical and hydraulic diagrams
Experienced in diagnosing and repairing power-shift transmissions
Possesses strong attention to detail and troubleshooting abilities
Experienced in component rebuilds including engines, hydraulics, and transmissions
Committed to workplace safety
Capable of implementing permanent repairs
Previous relevant experience in a similar capacity

Pay and Conditions:

Base Rate: $35/hr
$15-$30/hr in allowances based on experience and role
Total hourly rate: $50/hr - $65/hr
Full time employment with rostered mining hours
