Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, we are seeking AV Installation Technicians and/or Electricians to join our Melbourne integration team.

About the Role

This role involves the installation and integration of commercial AV systems within corporate fitouts and technology-enabled environments.

Working alongside experienced technicians and project teams, you will install the infrastructure and equipment that powers modern communication spaces.

Projects may include:

• Corporate meeting rooms and boardrooms
• Collaboration and training spaces
• LED video walls and large displays
• Distributed audio systems
• Integrated control and automation systems

Key Responsibilities

AV System Installation

• Installation of commercial AV systems and infrastructure
• Mounting displays, speakers, cameras and AV hardware
• Structured cabling including Cat6, fibre and speaker cable
• Cable management and containment to professional standards

Rack Building & System Integration

• Assembly of AV equipment racks to engineered schematics
• Installation of power distribution and sequencing systems
• Installation of DSPs, amplifiers, network switches and control systems
• Cable termination, labeling and documentation

Testing & Commissioning

• Signal testing and fault finding
• System configuration and verification
• Quality assurance and commissioning support

Skills & Experience

We welcome applicants from both AV and electrical trade backgrounds.

Essential

• Electrical licence OR experience in commercial AV installation
• Experience working on commercial construction or fitout projects
• Ability to read installation drawings and schematics
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship
• Commitment to safety and compliance standards

Highly Regarded

• AV installation experience
• LED video wall installation
• Structured cabling certification
• Networked AV systems knowledge
