Rate: $60 - $65 + super + shift loadings

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Electrician to join our team in Inverell. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in minimizing downtime and supporting continuous production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine electrical maintenance on plant and equipment
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults in machinery and control systems
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability
  • Install, test, and commission electrical components and systems
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
Skills and Experience
  • Trade qualification as an Electrician (Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or equivalent)
  • Current Electrical Licence in NSW (or ability to transfer)
  • Experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance preferred
  • Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical documentation
Desirable
  • Experience with PLCs, VSDs, and automated systems
  • Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Forklift or EWP licence
