Automotive Electrician - Mackay Based

About the Role 

We are seeking full-time trade qualified Automotive Electricians for an immediate start on servicing, maintenance and assembly of our OEM lighting towers, agriculture/mining and construction machinery in our purpose-built Mackay workshop. 

The position will include (but not limited to) the following: 

• Diagnosis and fault finding

• Assembly and manufacture of equipment

• Installation of solar and renewable energy systems 

• Mentoring apprentices 

• Airconditioning work

• Interpreting schematics and wiring diagrams

• Making and installing wiring harnesses, control panels, accessories and relevant equipment

• Managing and organising task related bills of materials 

• Completing job cards and reports associated with tasks

The candidate must possess the following: 

• A detailed knowledge of 12, 24 and 48V DC systems

• Minimum of Cert III qualification in Automotive Electrical Technology 

• Relevant post qualification experience in light or heavy vehicles

• Current aircon licence ( highly desirable )

• Strong attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent organisational and time management skills
