What is Safety Shield?
Safety Shield is an AI-powered pedestrian detection system designed to reduce the risk of people being struck by mobile plant. Already gaining traction in the civil, mining, and construction industries, our system is saving lives.
Developed over the past decade specifically for high-risk industries such as construction, rail, mining, demolition, and waste, Safety Shield can be fitted to any type of plant and equipment. The system combines AI-driven human detection with strategically positioned HD cameras to alert operators when pedestrians or vulnerable site personnel enter defined danger zones. While it continuously scans for all surrounding objects, it only issues alerts for people -ensuring maximum efficiency and safety.
