Materials handling company Starlluf Cranes Pty Ltd T/A Cranetec specializing in overhead cranes and lifting equipment has many large organizational customers. Due to rapid growth of business, we are seeking a Electrician with industrial experience and good mechanical aptitude in our Sydney Branch.
Job Summary
As a Electrician your roles will include but not limited to:
• Examining specifications and preparing materials and equipment for installations
• Holding qualified electrical supervisor license
• Responsible for installations of cranes including connecting new wires and cables to connectors and handling materials and other equipment in a professional and tradesman like manner.
• Carrying out project and preventative maintenance work by diagnosing faults and repairing faulty electrical parts
• Perform maintenance and repair work to cranes, installations of cranes, hoists and lifting equipment.
• Diagnosing faults with machinery operation and assisting customers to rectify issues promptly.
• To communicate with clients in a professional manner.
• Ensure work is performed, within agreed times and to an acceptable standard.
• Ensuring all work complies with current Australian and State standards.
• To comply with Cranetec Safety Standards as a minimum.
• To work within Cranetec QA procedures and complete required documentation.
• Be accountable for material, tools and equipment supplied and provided by Cranetec.
• Complete paperwork accurately and fully to maintain records and systems, as necessary.
Requirement:
• Relevant qualification at least Certificate III level
• Freshers with can do attitude will be considered for the position
• Industrial maintenance repair and service experience desirable
• Troubleshooting and fault finding skills
• Holding qualified electrical supervisor license
• Good communication skills and presentation
• A positive and self-motivated attitude
• Sound problem solving skills
• Understand electrical design and fault finding
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage priorities
• Understanding of OH&S
• Current driver's license
• Working at Heights certificate
