Mechanic, Front of House, Auto Electrician, Foreman

About the role

Myall River Automotive, a leading automotive repair and servicing company in the Tea Gardens area, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanic, Front of House, Auto Electrician, and Foreman to join our team. This is a full-time position based in our Tea Gardens, NSW 2324 workshop, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles.

What you'll be doing

• Performing routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including servicing, diagnostics, and troubleshooting

• Handling customer inquiries and providing exceptional front-of-house service

• Conducting electrical diagnostics and repairs on vehicle electrical systems

• Overseeing and coordinating the work of other mechanics and technicians as the Foreman

• Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards and in a timely manner

• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all work performed

• Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Mechanic, Auto Electrician, or Foreman, with a minimum of 5 years in the automotive industry

• Strong technical skills and knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures

• Proficiency in electrical diagnostics and repair, with a keen eye for detail

• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise explanations to customers

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, and to effectively manage and coordinate the work of others

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

• A valid driver's licence and a strong safety-first mindset

• AIS and AUVIS tickets Preferred but not essential
