MACA are seeking experienced Auto Electricians to join our business across a number of projects with the opportunity to work on heavy mobile equipment. Offering 2/1 rosters with FIFO options available from Perth and Jandakot.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance in line with manufacturers and management requirements.
• Diagnosing, repairing and overhauling plant and equipment including but not limited to trucks, drill rigs and generators.
• Maintaining, diagnosing and repairing hydraulic components.
• Dismantling, repairing and reassembling engines, transmissions, steering columns and other components.
• Diagnosing and repairing heavy vehicle fuel systems.
• Testing repaired parts for performance.
• Using computers and specialised tools to diagnose and repair faults.
• Inspecting vehicles and machinery for faults.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology.
• Automotive Airconditioning licence.
• Experience working on Heavy mobile mining equipment - CAT, Komatsu, Epiroc.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance through scheduled inspections, servicing adjustments, troubleshooting and timely repair of heavy mobile plant equipment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• HR Drivers Licence preferable.
• Highly motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Good knowledge and ability to follow work health & safety procedures and policies.
