About the Role

Your day-to-day will involve ensuring every system we install is performing perfectly and complies with all regulations. Your responsibilities include:

• Post-Installation Inspections: Conduct thorough onsite audits of recently completed solar PV and battery installations against our comprehensive company checklist.

• Warranty Call Backs: Attend to customer service requests, diagnosing faults, and performing maintenance or rectification works on existing systems.

• Compliance Verify that all works comply with relevant laws, regulations, and Australian Standards (AS/NZS 5033, 4777, and 3000).

• System Testing: Perform string testing, insulation resistance testing, and commissioning verification to ensure optimal system yield.

• Reporting: Document findings from inspections and provide feedback to the installation teams to drive continuous improvement in workmanship.

• Customer Guidance: Provide professional onsite communication, explaining system operation to customers and resolving any technical concerns.

• Safety Audits: Identify and manage any electrical or environmental hazards to ensure ongoing site safety.

Requirements

• NSW Electrical License (Essential)

• Valid Driver’s License (Essential)

• White Card & Working at Heights (Essential)

• SAA/CEC Accreditation for solar/battery (Highly regarded)

• Deep understanding of Australian Standards and the ability to spot non-compliance issues easily.

• Ability to diagnose complex electrical faults and system performance issues.

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to explain technical details clearly.

• A "quality-first" mindset with a refusal to cut corners.
