The Role

We're seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician / Supervisor to join their Service and Construction division in Mount Isa. As they strengthen their presence as a genuine industry challenger, you’ll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and alignment with company policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities:

• Effectively manage and execute assigned tasks in accordance with project requirements.

• Collaborate within project teams to achieve key milestones and deadlines.

• Maintain a strong focus on delivering excellent customer service.

• Interpret and update electrical schematics and technical drawings as needed.

• Accurately complete all required documentation, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).

• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults using appropriate testing equipment and methodologies.

• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and workplace health and safety legislation.

On Offer

• Attractive hourly rate: $60 - $68 per hour + super

• $2,500 sign-on bonus ($1,000 in first week, $1,500 after 6 months)

Required Qualifications:

• Current Unrestricted Electrical Licence

• Current “C” class Driver’s Licence

• White Card (construction site card)

• LVR & CPR Qualification

• Experience in working in the Industrial Electrical Industry

• Basic computer skills in Word and Outlook

• Must have Australian Permanent Residency

Desirable:

• Working at Heights certification

• High-Risk Licence – EWP

• Intermediate computer skills, proficient in the use of Microsoft Office package 

• Hazardous Area Installation experience and qualifications
