About the Role
We are looking for a qualified Maintenance Electrician to carry out preventative and reactive maintenance across a range of commercial and retail facilities including service stations, banks, supermarkets and government sites.
This role suits an electrician experienced in working within live operational environments, with a strong focus on safety, compliance and quality workmanship.
Key Duties

• Scheduled preventative electrical maintenance
• Inspection and testing of:
  • Switchboards and distribution systems
  • Lighting and power circuits
  • Emergency and exit lighting
  • RCDs and protective devices
• Fault finding and minor repairs
• Test and tag of electrical equipment
• Complete service reports and compliance documentation
• Liaise with clients and site managers on site

Requirements

• Current Australian Electrical Licence
• White Card
• Driver's Licence
• Experience in commercial or facilities maintenance
• Understanding of preventative maintenance programs
• Police Check

Standards & Compliance
 
Work must comply with relevant Australian Standards including:
AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 3019, AS/NZS 3760 and AS/NZS 2293, along with all WHS regulations.
 
Desirable

• Emergency lighting accreditation
• Petroleum or hazardous area experience
• Experience working on government or critical infrastructure sites
• WPCG certification
