About the role

Solex Electrical is currently seeking qualified Electricians to join our team. As a casual Electrician, you will work on-site at various locations around Mackay and the Bowen Basin, providing electrical services and solutions to our diverse range of mining clients. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise to a growing and dynamic electrical contracting company.

What you'll be doing

• Carry out electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs to the highest industry standards

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, providing prompt and efficient solutions

• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with relevant safety regulations and building codes

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work performed

• Collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional customer service and support

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our electrical services and processes

What we're looking for

• Fully qualified Electrician with a valid license to practice in Queensland

• Demonstrated experience in mining, commercial and/or residential electrical work

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve electrical issues

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Commitment to safety and a high standard of work

• $60/hour for work in Mackay
