South Coast Automation & Electrical Pty Ltd are a newly established company, based at Alberton South, servicing Adelaide, regional South Australia, and Interstate.

Due to business growth, we are on the hunt for a highly motivated and qualified Industrial Service Technician Electrician to join our hard-working fun team.

  • Food and beverage

  • Wineries and bottling halls 

  • Waste management 

  • Grain Storage and processing

  • Industrial electrical 

  • Project installation 

  • Automation - PLC, HMI 

  • Instrumentation and control

  • Calibrations

  • Control cabinet and switchboard building 

  • Breakdown support 

  • EEHA - equipment in hazardous area

  • Electrical schematics/drawings  


About the role

You will be required to:

  • Undertake electrical installation and service work

  • Be flexible and undertake wide range of work

  • Electrical maintenance and fault finding on heavy ,machinery

  • Provide electrical breakdown coverage

  • Work within a team environment

  • Have a can-do attitude and passion for the industry

Skills and experience

  • Electrical A -Class license

  • Driver's License

  • Construction Industry White Card 

  • Working at heights 

  • EWP High risk work license 

  • Current LVR & CPR 

  • Strong focus on safety

  • Can do attitude

  • Self-motivated

  • Proven experience in electrical installation, fault finding and maintenance activities

  • Experience with Switch Control Gear

  • Ability to participate in continuous improvement initiatives

  • Available to work Monday to Friday

  • Ability to work unsupervised

  • Demonstrated ability working within a fast-paced environment

  • Experience in fault finding complex electrical systems and equipment

  • Experience in working with 3 Phase Motors, variable speed drives, and pneumatics

  • Proficient in reading complex industrial wiring diagrams

  • Interest in working on and troubleshooting PLC and instrumentation systems - we will help you develop

  • Great communication skills with peers and clients

  • Understanding of mechanical systems

  • Experience with network and communication protocols (Not Required)

  • EEHA (Not Required)

  • Open Registration License - with appropriate endorsements (Not Required)
