SAA Accredited Solar Electrician (PV + Battery)

Peri Peri Electrical is coming up to 10 years in business and we’re growing. We’re looking for an SAA accredited Solar Electrician (PV + Battery) who wants to stay in renewables but also wants to broaden into general electrical project work, maintenance, installations and repairs across residential and commercial.

This role is built for someone who wants variety and stability: a healthy mix of new installs and project-based work, plus ongoing service work that keeps your weeks consistent.

The work (typical split)

Typically 50% solar and 50% general electrical, unless you want to lean more either way.

• Solar PV + battery installations, upgrades, commissioning, compliance and fault finding

• Systems we commonly work with: iStore and SolarEdge

• Residential electrical maintenance, installation and repair

• Commercial electrical maintenance, installation and repair

• Project-based scopes as they arise (upgrades, improvements and rectifications)

Roster and conditions

• Choose what suits your lifestyle: 4 day week or 9 day fortnight

• $55-65/hr depending on experience and capability

• Company vehicle supplied

• Uniforms provided

• No on-call requirements

• Service area: Perth Metro and South West

  • South West trips will generally be at least overnight

Employment type

This is a full-time permanent role. We’re also open to subcontractors applying if you’re the right fit.

Must have

• Unrestricted WA Electrical Licence

• SAA PV accreditation

• SAA Battery accreditation

• Strong fault finding, good job documentation, and pride in workmanship

• A self-starter mindset: keen to learn, willing, and able to think for yourself

• Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel regionally when required

Desirable

• Off-grid accreditation
