Magellan Power is seeking a Service Electrician to join our growing team based in Brisbane, QLD. This is a hands-on role suited to a motivated electrician who enjoys variety, field work, and delivering high-quality service to clients across metro and interstate locations.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, installing, and commissioning Magellan Power equipment both on-site and in-house. You will work with a range of industrial and commercial electrical systems while representing the company professionally at client sites.
Key Responsibilities
Service and repair Magellan Power equipment on-site and in-house
Perform on-site service and commissioning (metro and interstate as required)
Install, commission, and troubleshoot:
DC Battery Chargers
UPS systems
Battery banks (Lead Acid & Lithium)
Carry out basic switchboard work and electrical installations
Diagnose faults and repair or replace faulty components
Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
Conduct maintenance, testing, and calibration activities
Prepare service reports and client documentation
Deliver excellent customer service on-site and over the phone
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment
Training & Development
Undertake training across all Magellan Power systems
Request additional training to maintain skill currency
Share knowledge and support team members
Safety & Compliance
Adhere to all OHS, company, and client safety requirements
Promote and demonstrate safe work practices at all times
Comply with Magellan Power’s Integrated Management System (IMS)
Essential Requirements:
WA A-Grade Electrical Licence (or equivalent overseas licence)
Manual Driver’s Licence
Right to work in Australia
3–5 years of relevant electrical experience
Current LVR/CPR certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
