The role — what you'll do

This is a consultative, residential on-site role where you'll quote, recommend solutions, and consistently convert quotes into booked work.

• Attend scheduled residential on-site appointments and assess customer needs.

• Prepare detailed electrical estimates and proposals (labour, materials and pre-build groups)

• Capture clear photos and write installer-ready scope notes that eliminate confusion and rework.

• Lead the conversation, handle objections professionally, and secure customer approval on the day.

• Take deposit/payment on site to confirm the booking and lock in works.

• Maintain accurate notes and documentation in Simpro/CRM

• Quote commercially — protect margin, track profitability, and deliver a great customer experience.

How you'll be measured (KPI support + coaching provided):

• Quote conversion rate (on-the-day approvals)

• Gross margin / profitability

• Quote quality (scope clarity, photos, documentation)

• Customer experience / communication

About you — must-haves

• Qualified/licensed electrician (current electrical licence).

• Residential estimating experience (1–2+ years preferred, or strong residential quoting background).

• Excellent people skills — able to build trust quickly and explain technical items simply.

• Comfortable presenting price, asking for the go-ahead, and taking deposits/payment on site.

• Commercial awareness — able to write profitable, accurate quotes without discounting as a default.

• Proficiency in Simpro/CRM and Excel (Simpro preferred; similar systems considered).

• Current driver's licence and willingness to attend site visits across Perth metro.

• Strong written and verbal communication with well-structured notes.

• Full working rights in Australia required.

• Residential maintenance/service quoting experience

• Strong option packaging (growing job value through better options, not discounting)

• Consistent documentation habits (photos, scope clarity, clean handover notes)
