Maintenance Electrician

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our team at our Kingsgrove site on a permanent full-time basis, covering the Afternoon Shift. The Maintenance Electrician is responsible for the efficient and effective maintenance and repair of all plant and machinery and assisting with scheduled preventative maintenance according to Australian Standards, relevant regulations, and manuals for the Kingsgrove operations.

 

Key accountabilities include:

• Ensure machinery and equipment are maintained in compliance with Australian standards.

• Install, assemble, test, and maintain electrical wiring, appliances, and fixtures using the appropriate tools.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in systems and components using test equipment and hand tools, identifying and correcting issues efficiently.

• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and ensure all plant and equipment are production ready.

• Communicate proactively with key stakeholders to identify and resolve maintenance concerns.

• Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring all machinery is in safe operating condition.

• Adhere to and promote Quality, GMP, HACCP, and food safety guidelines, policies, and procedures. 

• Support the resolution of corrective actions in line with quality and compliance standards.

The successful applicant will possess:

• Trade qualifications in Electrical – essential

• Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology – Electrical – preferred

• PLC/ Electronics knowledge/ exposure – essential

• Minimum of 3-5 years industrial maintenance experience, ideally within a FMCG or Food & Beverage manufacturing environment.

• Confident user of Microsoft Office Package.

• A proactive team player with a hands-on approach.

• Willing to work Day Shift – (6.30am – 2.30pm)
