Maintenance Electrician

Talent Blue is currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician for an ongoing role supporting a major steel mains manufacturing facility.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable, long-term project where safety and precision are the top priorities. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of complex plant equipment used in the production of world-class water infrastructure.

The Role Working in a heavy industrial environment, your day-to-day will involve:

• Preventative Maintenance: Carrying out scheduled inspections and servicing of manufacturing machinery and plant assets.
• Breakdown Support: Rapidly diagnosing and repairing electrical faults to minimize production downtime.
• System Upgrades: Assisting with the installation, commissioning, and optimization of new electrical systems.
• Safety Compliance: Ensuring all work meets Australian standards and site-specific safety regulations.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Reading and interpreting electrical schematics to solve complex automation and control issues.

What You Need

• Australian Electrical License (Unrestricted).
• Proven experience in an Industrial/Manufacturing environment.
• Strong fault-finding skills (PLC, motor controls, and high-voltage systems experience is highly regarded).
• A proactive approach to safety and a "team player" attitude.
• Full Australian Working Rights: Please note, this role is not available to candidates on Working Holiday Visas or those requiring sponsorship.
