A Grade Electrician

Southern Generators & Electrical are a well-established company that hires, sells, installs and services generators. With applications in general industry, government services, major events, and utilities.  

We currently have a vacancy for a talented, self-motivated A Grade electrician to be based at our Dingley depot.

We are offering a full-time position 38-hour base week.

Must be available for some weekend and overtime hours.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct maintenance of SGH fleet machines.

• Attend breakdowns.

• Complete maintenance on customer Gensets

• Install permanent Gensets and ATS systems.

• Install temporary generator power for multiple different applications. 

• Work independently, demonstrating strong organisational and time management skills.

• Ensure compliance with OH&S Policies.

Qualifications

• A-Grade electrical licence.

• Industrial Electrical Experience

• Control wiring advantageous.

• Previous generator experience not necessary but would be advantageous.

• Forklift licence advantageous.
