Electrician – Automation Specialist

Your main responsibilities will include proactively identifying areas for technical upgrades, planning and scoping out new installations, carrying out the physical installation of automation devices, and overseeing the commissioning process to ensure optimal performance. You'll also be expected to carry out regular maintenance and provide rapid troubleshooting support to minimise downtime across the facility, which could include anything from conveyor systems to complex robotics.

Candidates must have a minimum of 5+ years of experience working with automation systems and technologies.

A keen eye for detail and strong schematic reading abilities are crucial, as you'll frequently consult with draftsmen on technical drawings, providing guidance on redline mark-ups to keep all documentation accurate and up-to-date. This position requires the ability to work rotating shifts as part of the operational requirements.
