About the Role

We are currently looking for an experienced Electrician or Electrical Fitter to join our workshop team. Key duties will include:

• Wiring and assembling custom switchgear and control gear assemblies
  
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and layout drawings
  
• Electrical fit-out, termination, and testing of equipment
  
• Identifying and replacing electrical components during assembly
  
• Supporting mechanical assembly tasks where required
  
• Maintaining safe work practices in a workshop environment
  

This is a site-based role in Blacktown. No travel is required.

Requirements

• Holds an Australian Electrical Licence or Electrical Fitter qualification
  
• Has hands-on experience wiring switchgear and/or control gear assemblies
  
• Can read and interpret electrical schematic drawings
  
• Has workshop-based electrical assembly experience
  
• Has mechanical aptitude and can work on equipment involving both electrical and mechanical components
