About the Role:
Core Talent working with a leading contractor who specialises in Oil & Gas, Infrastructure and Energy Project across QLD. They are currently seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Technicians, EEHA Electricians and Electricians to support a major project in the Surat Basin. This hands-on role involves a mix of equipment maintenance, installation, upgrades, testing, and technical support.
Job Title 1: Electrical & Instrumentation Technician (E&I)
Rate: $84ph (Flat Rate) + Super
Job Title 2: EEHA Electrician / Electricians
Rate: $76ph (Flat Rate) + Super
Position: Permanent
Location: Surat Basin
Roster: 19:9 (19 days on, 9 days off)
Hours: 10/11hr days
Allowances: + Daily/Weekly Site Allowances + Meals, Accommodation & Travel
Key Responsibilities
About You:
Ideally you’ll bring at least 5 years’ experience in a similar E&I, HA or FIFO Electrician role and possess strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. You’re capable of working independently and in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Installation of CSG wellsite infrastructure which includes:
- Earthing
- Cable ladder infrastructure
- High voltage terminations (3.3kv)
- Instrumentation termination (PIT’s, Flow, and shut off valves)
- Low voltage cable installation
- Communication termination
- Testing and all completions requirements
About You:
Ideally you’ll bring at least 5 years’ experience in a similar E&I, HA or FIFO Electrician role and possess strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. You’re capable of working independently and in a team environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Electrical Trade Qualification
- C Class Manual Driver’s License
- Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Cert IV in Hazardous Areas – Electrical (EEHA) - Desired
- Low Voltage Rescue (LVR)
