Auto Electrician | Dawson

Looking for your next big move in mining? We’re looking for experienced, trade-qualified Auto Electricians, for a long-term project at Dawson Mine site. This is a great opportunity to work with class leading heavy mobile equipment including Komatsu 830E haul trucks and Liebherr R996 excavators.

The Role

You'll be responsible for:

• Service, maintain and repair Liebherr R996 digger, Komatsu 830E haul trucks and CAT ancillary equipment
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs safely and efficiently
• Accurate maintenance records via AMT
• Follow site procedures
• Collaborate with a tight-knit team to minimise machine downtime

What we're looking for

• AUR30320 CERT III Automotive Electrical Technology trade certificate or equivalent 
• Current driver’s licence
• Current QLD ResHealth medical and Standard 11
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability
• Experience with Liebherr R996 diggers and Komatsu 830E trucks essential
• Solid commitment to safety and teamwork
