We are currently seeking experienced
Electricians to join the Ready Resources team for ongoing field service, backfill, ad hoc, and shutdown opportunities across various client sites throughout the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
About the Role.
As an Electrician with Ready Resources, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and associated control systems across mining, industrial, commercial, and infrastructure environments. The role may involve working at mine sites, workshops, client facilities, and remote locations throughout Western Australia.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience: - Minimum 5 years' experience in an electrical trade environment.
- Current Australian Electrical Licence (A-Grade Electrician or equivalent).
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (UEE30820) or equivalent trade qualification.
- Current WA Driver's Licence (essential).
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate.
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical faults and control equipment.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous mining experience highly regarded but not essential.
- Working at Heights, Confined Space, EWP, LF, and other high-risk licences are advantageous.
Key Responsibilities - Install, maintain, repair, test, and commission electrical and control systems
- Perform fault finding and diagnostics on electrical equipment and systems
- Ensure all maintenance work meets required standards and specifications
- Communicate with supervisors on breakdowns, repairs, and maintenance needs
- Complete timesheets, work orders, and maintenance records accurately
- Carry out testing and quality checks on completed work
- Follow all site safety procedures and legislative requirements
- Report hazards, incidents, and equipment failures promptly
- Maintain tools and equipment in safe, serviceable condition
- Promote and support a strong “Zero Harm” safety culture
