The Role
As a Field / Rig Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing electrical systems on drilling rigs and remote field sites. You will play a key role in ensuring safe and reliable operations, working alongside experienced teams in challenging environments.

What You Need
  • Electrical License (valid in required state)
  • Electrician Trade Certificate
  • EEHA (Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas) (valid within 3 years)
  • Perform Rescue from a Live LV Panel (preferred – training available)
  • Physically fit with the ability to work long hours in remote locations
  • Comfortable working at heights and in extreme weather conditions
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and safety awareness
  • Valid manual driver’s license
  • Awareness of Chain of Responsibility Regulations
  • National Police Clearance (less than 1 month old)
Required Certificates/Training*
  • Industry Safety Induction (ISI) 
  • First Response to Fire Incidents 
  • Operate Breathing Apparatus 
  • First Aid & CPR 
  • Confined Space Entry & Gas Test Atmospheres 
  • Wellsite Permit to Work (Holder) 
  • Working at Heights with Gotcha Kit 
  • Operate Vehicles in the Field (4WD Certificate)
