Full Job Description  
The Opportunity:
   


The ideal candidate will be experienced with:

  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical, and hydraulic issues on Surface/ Underground trucks, mobile plant equipment, light vehicles and other equipment as required for mining and underground. Including Catapiller, Hitachi, Komatsu, Leibherr mobile plant. Also Jumbos, UG loaders, Trucks, Normet dyno and Longhole equipment and drills, also Sandvik, Volvo 
  • Performing routine maintenance and inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
  • Disassembling and reassemble heavy equipment components.
  • Using diagnostic tools and equipment to assess and repair equipment efficiently.
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
  • Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Collaborating with team members to complete complex repair projects.
  • Breakdowns and underground maintenance 
  • Skilled with an extensive range of Mining equipment
About you
  • Current & Valid Driver's License (manual required)
  • National Police Clearance (validity dependent on site)
  • Australian Recognized Trade Certificate
  • Proven experience as a Heavy-Duty Mechanic working on trucks, mobile plant, or similar equipment. 
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to safety.
