About Us

Aury NHL is seeking experienced High Voltage Electricians to join our growing team. Opportunities are available at our Rutherford workshop and at a mine site in the Singleton region.

For our OEM Workshop roles, we offer both full-time and casual employment options. Our mine site positions operate on a lifestyle roster and are based in a modern, state-of-the-art workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities

·             Perform maintenance, fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on high voltage electrical systems and mining equipment.

·             Conduct inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance activities to maximise equipment availability, and reliability.

·             Diagnose and trouble shoot electrical and control system faults.

·             Complete commissioning and electrical testing activities as required.

·             Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

·             Collaborate with team members and personnel to resolve technical issues efficiently.

·             Ensure all work is performed in accordance with site procedures, statutory requirements and company safety standards.

·             Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best practice maintenance strategies.

 

Skills & Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will possess:

·       Electrical Trade Qualification and Certificate of Proficiency

·       High Voltage Qualifications and/or demonstrated experience working on high voltage systems.

·       Previous experience in a mining, heavy industrial, or similar environment.

·       Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills

·       Ability to interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and manuals.

·       Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

·       Excellent problem solving ability and attention to detail.

·       Ability to work effectively, collaboratively and positively within a team environment.

·       Reliable and strong work ethic.

·       Excellent communication skills.

·       Current Drivers License

·       A demonstrated commitment to safety and compliance with all industry regulations and company policies.

Pre-employment medical, background checks, and a CMI history check will be required prior to offer.
